Utilising 3 runs of our highest quality cable from the Scorpion Mains cable, the Dragon consists of 54 of our bespoke Inert Resin Coated, Oxygen Free Copper Hybrid Core Conductors (for live and neutral only) with a 3sqmm stranded oxygen free copper heavy duty earth. The inert resin coating drastically minimising the skin effect problem of most dialectrics and provides the highest quality signal integrity and a lower resistancy. The Hybrid Core design offers all the benefits of Solid Core technology and Stranded technology without the drawbacks of both designs. The invividually coated and insulated conductors are then arranged in twin opposing helical spirals to drasitcally reduce Radio Frequency and Electro Magnetic interference which along with our thick copper foil screening helps to stop any unwanted interference getting into the cable and causing distortion on your sound or images. Dragon also has the addition of 6 of our highest grade Enhanced Noise Absorbtion System treatments which remove more unwanted interference from within the mains signal itself that would normally surface as distortion in sound or image. The Dragon sets a new benchmark for what can be achieved from a mains cable without a rediculous price tag. It has extraordinary clarity and rhythm with truly stunning dynamics but manages to ooze refinement and class in its presentation just like the Scorpion but it does so with vastly more zest and authority and a simply sublime bass delivery. The Dragon mains cable is made completely by hand and is terminated to a far higher standard than any cables in its class. It uses the Furutech Fi1363 Rhodium Plated UK plug which we also upgrade with our own Gold/Silver plated 13amp fuse. It is then terminated with an Oyaide C004 10amp IEC plug which is made from Beryllium Copper and plated with a thick layer of Platinum and a surface layer of Paladium. The combination of these plugs ensure the very best connection quality available.
